Photovoltaic module
The 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), published by the International Code Council (ICC) defines a photovoltaic module as: ‘A complete, environmentally protected unit consisting of solar cells, optics and other components, exclusive of a tracker, designed to generate DC power where exposed to sunlight.’
